My work is supported by a collaborative research environment at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Research Institute. I work closely with peers, mentors, and mentees in many disciplines (e.g., public health, law, public policy, medicine, sociology). My work has been immensely strengthened by collaborating with colleagues who share their different perspectives and/or approaches to investigating research questions. I am engaged in several research-practice partnerships where practitioners and community members participate in every stage of the research (hypothesis generation, design, approach, analysis) and help translate research evidence to improve implications for both policy and practice.
